Pricing

A license, not a meter.

Self-hosted rendering for EN 16931 e-invoices. Your documents never leave your infrastructure — so we price the software, not your document count.

  • Watermarked output · 500 documents/day
  • The open-source stylesheets (Apache-2.0) are free with no limits

Founding-customer offer: the first 5 production customers get 40% off year one in exchange for a published case study.

Every license includes

  • No watermark, no daily cap — the license file unlocks the same public image you evaluated
  • Spec-cycle updates — stylesheets and validation tracking updated within 3 weeks of every Peppol/EN 16931 release (May + November), for the license term
  • All syntaxes and profiles — UBL, CII, Peppol BIS 3.0, XRechnung, hybrid Factur-X output
  • Air-gap friendly — no phone-home, no telemetry, offline license verification; runs where your invoices live
  • The doctrine — an expired license never hard-stops your rendering. It warns, then degrades gracefully to evaluation mode after a 30-day grace period. Faktorei will not take down your billing run.
  • Support by email, priority for design partners

Volume bands are honor-based with an annual true-up — we don't meter your documents, because we never see them. Instances aren't counted either: one license covers your whole deployment.

How to buy

Email billing@faktorei.dev with the tier and your company details. You receive a signed license file and an invoice — which is, naturally, a Factur-X hybrid rendered by Faktorei itself. Payment by bank transfer or card (Stripe). The license agreement is two pages and readable.

Questions we get

Can I try the full throughput before buying?
The evaluation cap is 500/day, but the published benchmark is reproducible from a seed and an image digest on ~€1 of cloud time — the methodology page shows exactly how.
What happens when my license expires?
Warnings for 30 days, then evaluation mode. Never a hard stop. Renewals are an email.
Do you offer a hosted API?
In development. The self-hosted container is the flagship deliberately: most of our customers can't ship invoice data to third parties, and neither should they have to.
Multiple instances?
Run as many as you need — replicas, environments, regions — at no extra cost. The volume band is the only axis we price on. Our own deployment guidance is to scale out with replicas rather than up with cores, and it would be strange to charge you for taking it.
